IMMUNE BOOSTING PINEAPPLE GINGER SMOOTHIE

Servings: 1
INGREDIENTS:
- Fresh โฃPineapple
- โฃ1 Bananaโฃ
- Ginger Waterโฃ
- 1 tsp Turmeric Powderโฃ
- 1 tsp Ashwagandha Powder โฃ
- 1/2 tsp Ester C Vitamin C Powder โฃ
Instructions:
- Make Ginger water first: cut 3-4 pieces of ginger root, add to a small saucepan, bring to boil, reduce to simmer and let it cool or use while still hot/warm.
- Add the fruit, ginger water, all powders to a blender and blend until smooth.
Recipe Notes:
- Usually, I use a room temp ginger water, to make sure Vitamin C is not destroyed. This time I wanted to have a warmer drink to comfort my throat, thatโs why I used hot ginger water. My pineapple & banana were right out of the refrigerator and that quickly cooled down the ginger water. โฃ
- Iโm also taking higher dosages of Vitamin C since we are in times of global pandemic. The regular dose is 2/3 tsp. โฃ โฃ
- You can use frozen pineapple chunks. If the smoothie gets too thick, add more ginger water 1 tablespoon at a time.
